Monthly puzzle
At my community New Year party, three of my neighbours decided they would "go green" this year. One would recruit members for a composting group, one for a recycling group and one for a windmill group.By the end of April, the three groups had a total of 338 members. The groups have different numbers of members, but in each group, each member had signed up the same number of new members each month, as his or her co-members had done.
What was the total number of members of the three groups at the end of February?
