Last month's puzzle (October/09)

A couple of friends and I have radio controlled sailboats, and decided to have some races on the lake where I live.

We placed four marks - red, yellow, green and blue - on straight north-south and east-west lines intersecting at a small fountain. The red mark due north of the fountain and the closest to it. The yellow mark due west of the fountain and one-third further away from it. The blue mark due east of the fountain and four-fifths further away from it than the yellow. The green mark due south of the fountain and 96 metres from it. All races started and ended at the red mark and went to each of the other marks once. I realized later that a circle could have been drawn which would have intersected all four marks.

Measuring the race courses as going straight from one mark to the next, there are three different course lengths possible, depending on the order in which the yellow, green and blue marks are visited. What are the three course lengths?

red-yellow-green-blue-red: 352m
red-yellow-blue-green-red: 408m
red-blue-yellow-green-red: 420m
