"Ram" is one of my earliest and one of my favourites. "Bamboo" and "Horses" are pen and ink studies from the book Drawing and Painting with Ink, by Fritz Henning. "Cardinal" was my second oil painting, done in 1989, and at the bottom of the page, spring flowers: "Ladyslipper" and "Iris".

-"Ram" is an experiment in charcoal, drawn in 1987.  I was just starting out and was not using good quality paper.  Look closely at the picture and you will see the ghost of the next page's picture.

"Bamboo" is a pen and ink study from the book Drawing and Painting with Ink, by Fritz Henning. 2004.

	"Cardinal" was the second oil painting I did, in 1989.  The picture was taken from an issue of International Wildlife.  It's a fairly accurate, one-dimensional representation of the photograph.
